¿Es una moneda para hacerme rico?

No. Harlequin no es una inversión y no promete ninguna rentabilidad. Las monedas son dinero de uso dentro de la sociedad (pagar, ahorrar), no un activo que vendamos. Si buscas especular, este no es tu sitio.

No. Harlequin is not an investment and promises no return. The currencies are money of use within the society (paying, saving), not an asset we sell. If you are looking to speculate, this is not your place.

¿Tengo que dar mis datos personales?

Do I have to give my personal data?

No, ninguno. Tu cuenta es una máscara: un par de claves en tu dispositivo. Sin nombre, correo ni teléfono. No guardamos nada de ti.

¿Cómo me uno? ¿Necesito correr un nodo?

How do I join? Do I need to run a node?

Te unes creando tu máscara (el botón «Únete») y pasando el rito de ingreso. Con eso ya eres miembro: chateas, comercias y participas en el gobierno. No necesitas correr un nodo para nada de eso. Correr un nodo es opcional —para quien, además, quiera sostener la red (la retribución por servicio está diseñada y en construcción)—.

You join by creating your mask (the «Join» button) and passing the rite of entry. That makes you a member: you chat, trade and take part in governance. You do not need to run a node for any of that. Running a node is optional —for whoever, on top of that, wants to hold the network up (service retribution is designed and being built)—.

Nadie manda por encima. El poder es la reputación ganada, no el dinero ni las máquinas, y se reparte; las reglas las cambia un proceso público y lento. No somos dueños de la sociedad: construimos el sitio donde puede existir, y luego se gobierna sola.

No one rules from above. Power is earned reputation, not money or machines, and it is shared; rules change through a slow, public process. We do not own the society: we build the place where it can exist, and then it governs itself.

Porque no te pedimos confianza ciega, te damos pruebas: el código es libre y abierto; no hay premine ni monedas reservadas a fundadores; no custodiamos tu dinero ni tus claves; la web no carga recursos de terceros y puedes auditarla. No tenemos nada tuyo que robar y no prometemos beneficios. La verdad vive en la cadena, pública.

Because we do not ask for blind trust, we give proof: the code is free and open; there is no premine nor coins reserved for founders; we custody neither your money nor your keys; the site loads no third-party resources and you can audit it. ¿Y si os incautan la web o un Estado la bloquea?

No pasa nada importante. La web es solo un portal; lo que vale (identidad, dinero, mensajes, gobierno) vive en la red de nodos, no en un servidor. Si cae la web, la sociedad sigue. Además es accesible por Tor (.onion) y cualquiera puede volver a hospedarla.

Nothing important. The site is just a portal; what matters (identity, money, messages, governance) lives on the node network, not on a server. If the site goes down, the society goes on. It is also reachable over Tor (.onion) and anyone can re-host it.

¿Necesito hardware especial para participar?

Do I need special hardware to take part?

No. Correr un nodo está pensado para caber hasta en un teléfono: el muestreo de consenso es pequeño a propósito. La libertad no puede ser privilegio de quien tiene un centro de datos.

No. Running a node is designed to fit even on a phone: the consensus sample is small on purpose. Freedom cannot be a privilege of those who own a datacenter.

¿Cuándo arranca? ¿Puedo entrar ya?

When does it start? Can I join now?

La cadena ya arrancó (imparcial, anclada a un bloque de Bitcoin) y está viva: ya puedes correr un nodo. La sociedad se construye por capas, sin prisa (calidad sobre velocidad): entrar con tu máscara y las estancias de miembro llegan pronto. El código es tuyo para leerlo.

¿Y si me arrepiento o quiero irme?
