What we keep about you

Casi todo servicio te pide datos «para protegerte» y se vuelve el cofre que un atacante —o un Estado— querrá abrir. Aquí no. Lo que importa —tu identidad, tus llaves, tu dinero, tus mensajes— no vive en ningún servidor nuestro, sino en tu dispositivo y en la cadena repartida. La web es un portal tonto: incautarla o hackearla no da nada que valga.

Almost every service asks for data "to protect you" and then becomes the chest an attacker —or a State— wants to open. Harlequin does not play that game. The part that matters —your identity, your keys, your money, your messages— does not live on any server of ours: it lives on your device and on the distributed chain. The web server is a dumb portal: if it is seized or hacked, there is nothing worth finding.

Tus llaves, en tu dispositivo. Tu máscara y las claves de tu dinero viven en tu equipo, no en el nuestro; nadie firma por ti. La recuperación es tuya (frase semilla): sin botón mágico que sería una puerta trasera.
Your keys, on your device. Your mask and the keys to your money live on your machine, not ours; no one signs for you. Recovery is yours (a seed phrase): no magic "reset" button that would be a back door.
El chat, cifrado de extremo a extremo. En el Corro los mensajes se cifran en tu dispositivo y solo se descifran en el del destinatario; quien los sirve ve ruido, nosotros incluidos.
The chat, end-to-end encrypted. In the Circle messages are encrypted on your device and decrypted only on the recipient's; whoever relays them sees noise, us included.
Accesible por Tor, replicable por cualquiera. También se sirve por Tor (.onion); estática y sin secretos, cualquiera puede hospedarla: si tumban un servidor, la sociedad sigue.
Reachable over Tor, replicable by anyone. It is also served over Tor (.onion); static and holding no secrets, anyone can host it: if a server is taken down, the society goes on.
Verificable, no «confía en mí». Código libre, cero recursos de terceros; el navegador comprueba que nada filtra. La privacidad no es una promesa legal: es una propiedad que auditas.
Verifiable, not "trust me". Free code, zero third-party resources; your browser checks that nothing leaks. Privacy is not a legal promise: it is a property you audit.
