How the society decides
El Consejo no es un edificio ni un grupo de personas con sillón. Es la forma en que la sociedad se gobierna a sí misma: por reglas públicas, sin amo, sin clase privilegiada. Tu peso al decidir es tu reputación —ganada con el tiempo en los cuatro palos—, no tu dinero ni cuántos ordenadores enchufes. Un rico no manda; un granjero de máquinas no manda. Manda quien la comunidad ha encontrado digno de confianza, y solo mientras lo siga siendo.
The Council is not a building nor a group of people in seats. It is how the society governs itself: by public rules, with no master and no privileged class. Your weight in deciding is your reputation —earned over time across the four suits—, not your money nor how many machines you plug in. A rich person does not rule; a machine-farmer does not rule. Whoever the community has found trustworthy rules, and only while they remain so.
- El poder se gana, no se compra. La voz es proporcional a tu reputación (los cuatro palos), no a tu dinero ni a tus máquinas. Empiezas a cero; ni un whale ni una granja de nodos captura la sociedad.
- Power is earned, not bought. Voice is proportional to your reputation (the four suits), not your money nor your machines. You start at zero; no whale and no node-farm captures the society.
- Las reglas cambian despacio y a la vista. Propuesta pública, deliberación, ratificación por reputación —la lentitud protege del golpe—. Y hay un suelo intocable: el manifiesto sellado.
- Rules change slowly and in the open. Public proposal, deliberation, ratification by reputation —slowness guards against the coup—. And there is an untouchable floor: the sealed manifesto.
- Los pleitos: jurado por sorteo. Sin tribunal permanente; un jurado fresco y sorteado, sin nadie con interés. El único castigo es reputacional, nunca fuerza.
- Disputes: a sortitioned jury. No permanent court; a fresh jury drawn by lot, with no one who has an interest. The only punishment is reputational, never force.
- Siempre puedes irte. El derecho de salida: te vas con lo tuyo, o bifurcas con tu historia. El poder solo dura mientras se merece.
- You can always leave. The right of exit: you leave with what is yours, or you fork with your history. Power lasts only while it is deserved.
El Consejo es cómo la sociedad se gobierna: las reglas están en el manifiesto y los mecanismos en el código, abiertos para que los leas. La sociedad se gobierna sola; nosotros solo construimos el sitio donde eso es posible.
The Council is how the society governs itself: the rules live in the manifesto and the mechanisms in the code, open for you to read. The society governs itself; we only build the place where that is possible.
