Two instruments, one rule
El dinero de un Estado se imprime a voluntad y pierde valor. Harlequin separa dos funciones para que ninguna corrompa a la otra: una moneda para vivir el día a día y una reserva para guardar tu futuro. Y una regla dura sobre ambas: la cantidad y su emisión salen de reglas públicas y pre-comprometidas, no de un número que alguien elige.
A State's money is printed at will and loses value. Harlequin separates two functions so neither corrupts the other: a currency to live day to day and a reserve to keep your future. And a hard rule over both: the amount and its issuance come from public, pre-committed rules, not from a number someone picks.
HLQ · Harlequin
El medio de cambio: rápido y de baja fricción para comprar, vender y pagar. No promete una paridad (eso es lo que revienta las monedas algorítmicas); su estabilidad es ser líquida — entras y sales barato y al instante. Tienes HLQ el tiempo justo de mover valor.
The medium of exchange: fast, low-friction, to buy, sell and pay. It promises no peg (that is what blows up algorithmic coins); its stability is being liquid — you move in and out cheaply and instantly. You hold HLQ just long enough to move value.
SOV · Soberano
El ahorro: escaso, de cap fijo y emisión que decae con corte duro (estilo oro / Bitcoin). El "soberano" fue oro y significa soberanía: la reserva es tu independencia, el oro de los hombres libres. Guardas valor en SOV; lo mueves en HLQ.
Savings: scarce, fixed-cap, with a disinflationary emission and a hard cutoff (gold / Bitcoin style). The "sovereign" was gold and means sovereignty: the reserve is your independence, the gold of free men. You store value in SOV; you move it in HLQ.
- Sin premine. Nadie se reserva monedas ni hay parte para fundadores; entran pagando el trabajo de sostener la red. Poder ≠ riqueza: un whale no gobierna.
- No premine. No one reserves coins, no founder cut; they enter paying for the work of holding the network up. Power ≠ wealth: a whale does not govern.
- Los nodos se retribuirán por servicio. Mantener la red pagará a cualquiera por servicio honesto (sin dar voto) —está diseñado y en construcción—; gobernar se gana por reputación, nunca por dinero ni máquinas.
- Nodes will be retributed for service. Keeping the network up will pay anyone for honest service (no vote granted) —designed and being built—; governing is earned by reputation, never by money or machines.
- Ni banco ni exchange. No custodiamos tu dinero, no abrimos pasarela a euros, no prometemos rentabilidad. Dinero de uso, no especulación.
- Neither bank nor exchange. We hold no one's money, open no fiat gateway, promise no return. Money of use, not speculation.
Las cifras exactas (cap, curva de emisión) no las decreta nadie: se derivan de un modelo público. El comercio en HLQ vive en la Plaza; el poder, en la reputación, nunca en el dinero.
